Company History

1. 1945

   Foundation of a transport company by Aloys Weihermann in Münster-Roxel; specialization in coal and heating oil.

2. 1958

   Agency contract with Deutsche BP; supply for the company Wessler Landmaschinen in Altenberge.

3. 1968

   Wessler transfers the entire oil business to Aloys Weihermann and his sons.

4. 1969

   Relocation to Nottulner Landweg 76–78 and succession by the sons Josef and Karl-Heinz Weihermann; three 50,000-liter tanks shape the industrial estate.

5. 1990

   Purchase of the customer base of the company Kortenbrede in Münster; after the death of Karl-Heinz Weihermann, Frank Weihermann continues to run the business with Josef Weihermann.

6. 2003

   Opening of the 24-hour station "Geistertanke" on Nottulner Landweg.

7. 2004

   The BP Group appears in Germany under the Aral brand; the fleet is converted.

8. 2017

   Marketing of electricity and natural gas; the company suffix changes from Mineralölhandel to Energiehandel.
