About Weimako

Weimako is a manufacturer of sustainable packaging solutions founded in 2015, with its headquarters and production site in Tutzing near Munich. The company produces packaging and semi-finished parts such as sharpenable pencil barrels, caps, lip balm sticks, jars, pots and closures by injection molding on DEMAG and Arburg lines as well as by extrusion. Production is carried out to customer specifications from biobased materials – including cellulose granulates from second-generation wood, PLA and corn – as well as from conventional, petroleum-based plastics. The GOLD LINE packaging materials are microplastic-free in their decomposition and contain 0% petroleum-based raw materials; the development of biobased products is patented and funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. Customers include the cosmetics, stationery and dietary supplements industries, among them Lavios and NELE Kosmetik GmbH. In addition, Weimako offers decoration, lacquer finishing and 3D effects. Since 2025, the company has been a member of the CREATE research consortium for the biobased plastics economy. Production runs in multi-shift operation in accordance with GMP, REACH and DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
