About the Winery
Weingut Bisang is a family business in Altishofen in the canton of Lucerne, run by Inès and Thomas Bisang-Heller. On four vineyard slopes with a total of 5.5 hectares of vineyards in the sites from Dagmersellen to Reiden, European classic grape varieties are grown. In the winery's own modern cellar, the grapes are vinified gently and naturally. The range includes, among others, Pinot Blanc (Weissburgunder) and Pinot Noir non filtré (AOC Lucerne) as well as a Cuvée of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, fermented with wild yeasts and partly aged in amphora. Sales take place online and in the on-site wine cellar, which is open on Fridays and Saturdays and by appointment. Since 1999, life and work have been carried out at the Rumi in Altishofen.
