About the Estate
The Weingut Silvia Heinrich is located in Deutschkreutz in the heart of Burgenland, in Blaufränkischland, and looks back on a tradition of more than 250 years. The owner and winemaker is Silvia Heinrich. Since 2009, the estate has deliberately specialised in red wine, in particular Blaufränkisch, which accounts for 75% of the vineyard area and is the estate's flagship variety. The Blaufränkisch is vinified in seven varieties – from elegant and silky to mineral, intense and powerful red wines. The work is carried out close to nature with manual labour, cover cropping, promotion of soil life and selective hand harvesting. The wines are sold direct from the estate, at tastings by appointment, and via the online shop with wine shipping within Austria. In addition, the estate produces handmade grape seed spice mills with sea salt in seven varieties.
