About WEISS Austria
WEISS Automation Partner Austria GmbH, based in Grödig near Salzburg, was founded in 2019 and is the exclusive sales and consulting partner for the complete WEISS product portfolio in Austria. The parent company WEISS GmbH, founded in 1967 with around 500 employees in 17 countries, develops and produces automation solutions ranging from rotary indexing tables and linear index systems to handling modules. WEISS Austria offers consulting, application engineering, commissioning, training, maintenance and service from a single source. In addition, the team supplies custom accessories such as control cabinets, machine frames, plates and workpiece carriers as well as enclosures with polycarbonate viewing windows, and also provides PLC programming. Customers come from the automotive, mechanical and plant engineering, medical and pharmaceutical, and food and packaging industries. The linear index systems achieve a repeatability of 0.02 to 0.06 mm and move workpieces of up to 50 kg depending on the system.
