About Weiss Chemie + Technik
Weiss Chemie + Technik GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1815 as a hide glue producer and today is an internationally active manufacturer of modern adhesive systems, sealants, special cleaners and sandwich panels. The headquarters and Plant I are located in Haiger, and Plant II in Herzebrock-Clarholz; further companies of the group are located in Monroe (NC, USA), Niederdreisbach and in Qingdao (China). The Adhesives division comprises more than 400 variants of surface, structural, instant and special adhesives based on polyurethane, cyanoacrylate, MS polymer, epoxy and dispersions; customer-specific modifications of adhesive systems are part of the service. In the Sandwich Panels division, more than 5,000 thermally and acoustically insulating panels are manufactured with an in-house developed adhesive system, combining facing layers of plastic, aluminium and wood-based materials with core materials such as mineral wool or XPS. The products find buyers among others in window and door manufacturing, vehicle, trailer, container and caravan construction, in the wood and furniture industry as well as in facade and fire protection applications. The group employs around 325 staff.

A management system certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 forms the basis of quality assurance; every batch is monitored in the company's own laboratory during and after production.
