About Weiss Robotics

Weiss Robotics is an owner-managed company for mechatronic gripping systems based in Ludwigsburg. Since 2008, the company has developed and manufactured servo-electric grippers for the sensitive and precise handling of demanding gripping parts in assembly automation, the electronics and semiconductor industry, and the life sciences sector. The product range includes the IEG PLUS and STERIGRIP servo gripper series (GMP Class A certified for pharma and biotech), the INTRAPAL palletizing gripper with 280 mm stroke and adjustable gripping force from 150 to 1,200 N, and the GRIPKIT LS laboratory automation kit. Using GRIPLINK technology, the grippers are integrated directly into robot applications via standardized interfaces; integrated diagnostics, workpiece recognition and grip monitoring reduce programming and integration effort. Via the Motion Stream Interface, the company additionally enables motion streaming for teleoperation and AI-supported manipulation. All development and manufacturing take place at the Ludwigsburg site.
