A Pool of Specialists
Weiss Unternehmensgruppe GmbH pools expertise in metal chemistry, forming tool manufacture, plant engineering, vessel construction, plastics engineering, surface treatment, disposal logistics and medical technology through its subsidiaries DEWE Brünofix, Weiss Forming Tools, Preiss Anlagenbau and ELZI Entsorgungslogistik. DEWE Brünofix finishes metal surfaces by blackening, zinc and manganese phosphating and stainless steel colouring in computer-controlled, fully automatic contract treatment systems – from small screws to bearing rings for wind turbines – and distributes over 300 chemical products for degreasing, pickling, blackening, phosphating, corrosion protection and colouring. Weiss Forming Tools manufactures high-precision forming tools in steel and carbide using milling, EDM, turning, grinding and polishing with automated production. Preiss Anlagenbau, based in Grafenwöhr, builds special-purpose systems for heat and surface treatment, air-circulation furnaces, vessels in stainless steel and plastic up to 15,000 litres, and mixing and dosing systems. The group's companies serve a worldwide market with their products.
