About Weißbierbrauerei Hopf
The Weißbierbrauerei Hopf GmbH is a brewery founded in 1892 and based in Miesbach in Upper Bavaria. The company has specialized entirely in the production of wheat beers and produces a range of eleven beer varieties, including Hopf Helle Weiße, Dunkle Weiße, Spezial Weiße, the alcohol-free variety, and seasonal specialties. In 2015, annual output amounted to around 45,000 hectoliters. After being acquired by Hacker-Pschorr GmbH (Paulaner Brewery Group) in 2006, the brewery has belonged to the Bayerisches Brauhaus Tegernsee with effect from January 1, 2026. For more than 15 years of gold medal wins at the DLG quality tests, the brewery was awarded the "Preis der Besten in Gold" (Prize of the Best in Gold) by the German Agricultural Society. Under license, the Hopf Brew House in Pattaya (Thailand) produces Hopf beer for local distribution.
