About the Weißenhorner Milk Manufactory
Weißenhorner Molkerei GmbH is one of the oldest dairies in southern Germany, based in the little Fugger town of Weißenhorn in Bavarian Swabia. The family-owned company sees itself as a milk manufactory combining traditional craftsmanship with a modern factory, and processes exclusively Bioland milk from family farms in the surrounding region. Its range includes exquisite fresh creams, Mediterranean and Asian creams, cream cheese and cheese specialities, desserts, fruit yoghurts, dips, mueslis and butter – without artificial additives. The raw material passes through the entire production process from delivery to finished product under one roof, with a large share of manual work alongside machine assistance. The company holds the Bioland certificate as well as the EU control authority number DE-ÖKO-001 and supplies the organic food and grocery retail trade in southern Germany.
