Company

For over 100 years, WEITKOWITZ Kabelschuhe und Werkzeuge GmbH has been manufacturing cable lugs, cable connectors, ferrules and crimping tools for solder-free connection technology at its plant in Peine. The product range includes tube and compression cable lugs made of copper, aluminium, pure nickel and stainless steel, crimp cable lugs, earthing technology and products for renewable energies. Custom-made products are manufactured using press and stamping technology from tube or by turning and milling from solid material – from single parts to large series with cross-sections from 0.1 mm² to 1,000 mm². In addition, the company develops and produces crimping, cutting, stripping and busbar processing tools in its own toolmaking operation, and offers testing services such as current load tests, thermography and damage analysis. Core industries are the electrical and automotive industries, mechanical engineering, renewable energies and railway construction. Since 2010, the company has been part of the internationally active Intercable Group.
