The Wekoma GmbH (Westphalian Cosmetics Manufactory) in Wetter (Ruhr) is a contract manufacturer and development partner for high-quality cosmetics, focusing on anti-aging face and body care. The company develops, produces, fills and packages cosmetics for customers from prestige cosmetics, medical beauty, TV shopping as well as celebrity brands and exclusive private labels. Emulsions are produced in batch mode in computer-controlled reactors in which data on energy input, temperature and vacuum are stored to ensure reproducible results. Transfer to filling or shipping packaging is carried out via product-gentle transfer pumps. Water supply is based on reverse osmosis with downstream UV disinfection; water quality is microbiologically tested at short intervals. Small batches are also manufactured.
