wekomm engineering GmbH, based in Planegg near Munich, develops and manufactures high-precision measurement technology for metrology institutes, calibration laboratories, measuring instrument manufacturers and the manufacturing industry. The portfolio includes in-house developed precision resistance standards of the RS9010A and RS9020A series (resistance values from 1 Ω to 100 MΩ, stability typ. <1 ppm/year, temperature coefficient <0.3 ppm/K), high-load reference resistors, measuring instruments such as bolometer bridges, the Environment Monitor and a precision voltage source, as well as hard-to-obtain special components such as gold-plated low-thermal binding posts, plugs, sockets and cables. In addition, the company offers electronics development from digital circuit design to embedded systems and highly complex analog design, including prototype and series production of electronic assemblies with material procurement, assembly and commissioning. In its own calibration laboratory, the measured quantities resistance, direct current, alternating current and frequency are calibrated; the reference standards are traceable to PTB or NIST. In metrological research, wekomm cooperates closely with the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB); wekomm instruments are in use at national metrology institutes, in some cases as primary standards. Production takes place in Germany, with manufacturing and development carried out, among other locations, at the Kaufbeuren branch.
