Raw Material Specialist for Plastics
WELA-Plast GmbH, founded in Goldenstedt in 1991, is a raw material specialist for plastics and a supplier of custom raw materials for the plastics processing industry. The company develops and produces regranulates, granulates and compounds from post-industrial and post-consumer material, including the adjustment of technical properties through colorants, fillers and additives. The process-reliable process chain comprises shredding, extrusion with filtration and degassing, and hot granulation; in addition, contract granulation, refining and the distribution of plastics are offered. Around 40,000 m² are available at the Goldenstedt site for production, warehousing and administration, including a homogenization system, a filling system, metal detection coils and an in-house laboratory for incoming goods inspection and ongoing production monitoring. Materials processed include LD-PE, HD-PE, PP, PS, ABS, PA and TPE/TPV; certified recyclates include rPE-LD, rPE-HD, rPP and rABS with a traceable recyclate content. Customers are found in the plastics industry, packaging, agriculture and the automotive sector; delivery takes place across Europe and internationally. As a certified waste management specialist company under § 56 KrWG, WELA-Plast stores, treats and recovers plastic waste at the site.
