About Weldstone
Weldstone Components GmbH is part of the German IBG Group and is among the leading manufacturers of tungsten products and solutions in the fields of welding technology and industrial automation. From a medium-sized TIG electrode manufacturer, the company evolved into a market leader and expanded its business areas into tungsten heavy metal, tungsten-copper and special tungsten alloys. The product portfolio includes electrical contacts for contactors, relays and switches, composite materials such as W/Cu, WLa/Cu, W/WCu and W/CuCrZr, resistance welding electrodes, as well as F4 anodes and cathodes for plasma coating. Composite materials are manufactured to customer specifications by brazing, welding, infiltration or overcasting. The range of materials includes, in addition to tungsten and molybdenum, doped tungsten alloys (WLa, WZr, WCe, WY, WK), the TUCOMET tungsten-copper alloys, tungsten-silver and ceramics such as aluminum oxide, zirconium oxide and steatite. Customers from industries such as automotive, aerospace, precision metrology and the switchgear industry are supplied from sales and logistics centers in Europe, America and Asia with more than 3,000 products.
