About us
WEPATRONIC GmbH is an industrial service provider for electrical engineering and mechanical engineering based in Espelkamp (Ostwestfalen-Lippe). Core competencies are the manufacture of customer-specific cable assemblies and system cabling – from wire production through complete cable harnesses to ready-to-connect plug-and-work connector systems – as well as the construction of customer-specific control cabinets and control systems including wiring and system testing. In addition, the company develops and manufactures assemblies and devices from the requirements profile through the control concept to the design. Using the HOT-MELT/TECHNO-MELT low-pressure injection molding process, sensitive assemblies, connection systems and cables are molded or encapsulated; the injection molds used for this, made of aluminum, are machined mechanically or by EDM. Customers come, among others, from mechanical engineering, wind energy, medical technology, the rail industry, e-mobility, agricultural technology, power generation and communications technology.

Materials & Processes
Polyamide-based thermoplastics
Used in the HOT-MELT/TECHNO-MELT low-pressure injection molding process for encapsulating and over-molding assemblies and cables.
Aluminum
Used for injection molds (mechanically machined or EDM-eroded) as well as for aluminum signs.
Copper (strand, coaxial, biaxial and triax cables)
The basis of wire production and cable harnesses for signals, data and high currents.
Flat ribbon cable
Assembled flat ribbon cables for a wide range of connector applications.
Glass fiber
Material for housings of charging boxes in the e-mobility sector.

Quality
Electrical testing of every assembly and unit (continuity, wiring, short circuit, dielectric strength/insulation) is standard. Eight computer-controlled, networked test stations test up to 2048 points simultaneously at voltages up to 6 kV AC/DC; in addition, physical parameters such as lengths, construction, cross-section samples and pull-out tests are checked.
