About Werba-Chem
Werba-Chem GmbH is a specialty chemicals supplier founded in 1953 by Dr. Hans Werba in Vienna, with a focus on sustainable industrial products. Originally a distributor of base and auxiliary materials for the rubber industry, the company today supplies international industries with chemical raw materials, additives and tailored solutions. Since 2005, Werba-Chem has developed and produced its own products, including the EPS product line Werpol with Pickering stabilizers (tricalcium phosphate), reactor chemicals, coatings, antistatics, waxes and IR-active graphite-based masterbatches. Further business areas include additives for the tire and rubber industry, corrosion protection and grouting materials for prestressed concrete construction, as well as raw materials for pharmaceuticals, food, feed and cosmetics, and materials for biogas and geothermal energy. Production takes place in cooperation with European manufacturing and research partners; the Vienna Technology and Research Center offers an in-house laboratory for testing and optimization as well as an R&D department.
