About Werkzeugfabrik Holtmann GmbH
Werkzeugfabrik Holtmann GmbH is a family-run company founded in Wuppertal in 1961 with roots in classic toolmaking. Initially, hammers and chisels were manufactured in the company's own plant; today the product range under the Holtmann, HUFA and Jokosit brands includes professional and DIY tools for tilers, the construction trades, specialist retailers and DIY retail. The program ranges from tile cutting machines with CNC-milled carbide wheel mounts and CNC-machined bearing housings, via tile working tools made of chrome-vanadium steel with carbide inserts, lifting tools and grouting tools, through to cleaning accessories. Materials used include steel, chrome-vanadium steel, aluminium, carbide, titanium nitride coated cutting wheels, plastics such as polystyrene and nitrile, as well as beech wood. The Wuppertal site combines production, a logistics centre with more than 2,500 available items and worldwide shipping. The company supplies tradespeople and industry worldwide and distributes its products through the specialist trade with customised display walls and shop-in-shop systems.
