Werlter Möbel- und Küchenmanufaktur GmbH (WMK) is a family business founded in 1989 and based in Werlte, Lower Saxony. As a manufacturer and furniture manufactory, the company produces made-to-measure kitchens, built-in furniture and complete interior fit-outs for hotels, holiday apartments and holiday homes, boarding houses, apartments, medical practices, banks, offices, the gastronomy sector as well as exclusive residential and real estate projects in Germany and the Netherlands. The service chain covers planning and construction, interior architecture/interior design, in-house production, delivery and on-site installation at the customer – from counters and seating benches to refrigeration technology and lighting through to the complete inventory. According to its own figures, around 21,400 kitchens, nearly 11,000 built-in furniture items and over 12,500 premium hotel boxspring beds have been delivered, and 884 luxury villas have been fitted out. The company comprises the main site in Werlte, a consultancy office in Hamburg and a showroom and warehouse on Ameland in the Netherlands.
