About WESCO
WESCO is a Swiss ventilation specialist headquartered in Wettingen and is a brand of the Franke Group. The company develops, sells and services cooker hoods, downdraft cooktop extractors, comfort ventilation units, single-pipe bathroom/WC fans as well as ventilation solutions for schools, offices and public buildings. Its own research and development department tests new solutions in an in-house testing laboratory, often in collaboration with universities and accredited testing institutes; technologies include grease and odour filtration (including PlasmaMade®), switchability between exhaust air and recirculated air, and connectivity via WESCO Connect. The casings of the comfort ventilation units are made of galvanized sheet steel with powder coating; cooker hoods are made, among other things, of stainless steel. WESCO also distributes central ventilation units from partner manufacturers such as komfovent (Domekt R) and LUNOS (Silvento EC) in Switzerland and provides maintenance and service. A multi-stage quality assurance process guarantees, among other things, a spare parts guarantee of at least 10 years. Reference customers come from residential construction, real estate, schools and care facilities; the merger of WESCO AG into Franke Küchentechnik AG has been administratively announced.
