Wesenberg GmbH, based in Nidderau in Hesse, operates an online shop for metal products and custom cuts under the Metallideen24 brand. The family business manufactures sheet cuts to the millimeter as well as sheet goods in standard formats: perforated sheets with square holes, checker plates, plain sheets, expanded metal, embossed sheets, welded mesh and corrugated mesh, as well as plastic perforated panels made of PVC. Materials processed include aluminium, stainless steel, steel, galvanized steel and PVC. The scope of services includes custom cutting, deburring, packaging and shipping; orders are placed via an online configurator, starting from one piece. Customers are trade businesses, construction and further-processing companies as well as private individuals for DIY projects. In addition, there are own product developments such as the waste bin ventilation made of aluminium sheet and insulation tiles for interior insulation. Since 1999, the company has been run by the siblings Petra and Marc Wesenberg; the third generation is already active in the business.
