About Weserland
Weserland GmbH from Hanover has been developing and manufacturing chemical formulations for over 70 years and specializes in the production of aqueous dispersions and blends. Core competencies include vulcanization systems for latex foam and latex coatings, flame-retardant and antistatic compounds for carpet backing coatings, and cationically stabilized latexes based on HS-SBR, nitrile-butadiene and chloroprene rubber for the modification of bitumen emulsions. Further products include coatings and finishes based on aqueous polymer dispersions, functionalized with additives such as flame retardants, as well as supplementary auxiliaries such as foam stabilizers, wetting agents, thickeners and gelling agents. The service portfolio covers formulation development, laboratory services, process optimization, contract manufacturing including filling in the smallest quantities, hazardous materials handling, storage and logistics through to on-site product launch. Customer industries include mattress and latex foam manufacturing, the flooring and textile industries, aerospace, shipbuilding, rail, automotive, as well as bitumen and road construction. Products are manufactured and delivered throughout Europe from the Hanover site.

Products and Systems
Latex (HS-SBR)
Basis for cationically stabilized latexes for the modification of bitumen emulsions and for carpet backing coatings.
NL (Nitrile-Butadiene Rubber)
Used in latex blends for bitumen emulsions and coating compounds.
CR (Chloroprene Rubber)
Component of cationically stabilized latexes for bitumen modification.
Aqueous Polymer Dispersions
Basis of coatings and finishes, functionalized with additives such as flame retardants.
Flame Retardants
For high fire protection requirements of floor coverings and upholstery materials; in development also bio-based based on starch and lignin.
Starch and Lignin
Renewable raw materials for a funded project to develop bio-based flame retardants.
Bitumen Emulsions
Modified with cationically stabilized latex, used in road construction.
Auxiliaries and Specialty Products
