About Wessel-Werk
Wessel-Werk GmbH is a medium-sized industrial company headquartered in Reichshof-Wildbergerhütte in the Oberbergisch district, around 50 kilometers east of Cologne. Founded in 1931 by Hans Wessel, the company has been producing and developing vacuum cleaner nozzles and vacuum cleaner accessories for over 50 years – from standard and hard-floor nozzles to turbo brushes and electric nozzles, up to energy-efficient, multifunctional as well as commercial and industrial nozzles. Its core business is OEM manufacturing for virtually all vacuum cleaner manufacturers worldwide; since 2012 the company has also sold accessories directly to end customers. Building on decades of plastics manufacturing expertise, Wessel-Werk also offers custom plastic parts and assemblies for the household appliances, heating and sanitary, leisure and hobby, automotive and medical technology industries through its injection molding business. Production takes place at three production sites in Germany, Poland and China, partially fully automated – from part manufacturing and the assembly of complete assemblies through to retail-ready products. The offering is complemented by product development and brand design. In 2024, the company generated revenue of 67 million euros with around 520 employees worldwide, 140 of them at the headquarters.
