About Westfalen Gas Schweiz
Westfalen Gas Schweiz GmbH was founded in 2001 as the Swiss subsidiary of the Westfalen Group (founded in 1923 in Münster) and has since established itself in the gases business. The company produces and fills gases and fuels and trades in gases, fuels and gas equipment. Its service portfolio includes plant planning and installation of gas systems, their maintenance and the associated services. The product range includes technical gases, refrigerants, propane as well as future-oriented energy sources and special gases. Since 2011, the company has operated its own production and filling plant in Eiken in the canton of Aargau, the expansion of which is currently under construction; it also maintains a gas depot in Arlesheim. Distribution is handled via a network of more than 50 sales partners in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein, complemented by a customer portal, a cylinder management tool (Gas as a Service) and its own vehicle fleet. Customer industries include industry, medicine, pharmaceuticals, refrigeration/air conditioning, the food industry, laboratories and welding technology.
