About Westfalia
Westfalia is a traditional manufacturer of converted recreational vehicles with a 180-year company history and is regarded as the inventor of the Combi-Van. Luxury premium campervans as well as high-quality campervans are produced at the two production sites in Gotha (Germany) and in France. In Gotha, almost 600 campervans of the Meridian, Columbus, Sven Hedin and James Cook models are manufactured each year; in 2021 a new joinery and an additional production line were commissioned. The French site comprises a state-of-the-art 6,000 m² production building dedicated exclusively to luxury campervans such as Kelsey, Kepler One, Kepler Six and Jules Verne, as well as a new raw materials warehouse. Production includes a joinery for the manufacture and assembly of high-quality furniture and modular interior fit-out systems, as well as a polyester workshop where complex elements such as the shower tray of the Kepler One are produced from robust, durable materials. The industrialization of processes goes hand in hand with preserved craftsmanship know-how, which distinguishes the vehicles as "Handmade".
