About Westmark
Westmark GmbH, based in Lennestadt-Elspe (Sauerland), manufactures kitchen and household goods largely in Germany with more than 130 permanent employees. The production departments include plastic injection molding, plastic extrusion, aluminum die casting, zinc die casting and metalworking; an in-house toolmaking operation provides the technical support, and the packaging department ensures retail-ready packaging including blister packaging (HOPAC). Plastic parts are made exclusively from certified virgin plastic whose raw materials meet the requirements of the LFGB and the US FDA. The product range comprises around 2,500 products; the central warehouse at headquarters offers 18,000 pallet spaces. Another, smaller production unit is located in Wittelsberg near Marburg. The products are distributed via specialist retail, online retail and department stores as well as internationally via distribution partners.

Hubert Deimel founds the company as "Hubert Deimel Haushaltwarenfabrik"; the "Famos" potato peeler is manufactured, later giving its name to Famos GmbH.
