About Wetac
Founded in 1985, Wetac is a European supplier of lead-acid and lithium battery solutions. The company distributes batteries and accessories in more than 28 countries and is represented with its own branches in the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Greece, the United Kingdom and the Czech Republic. The portfolio covers the segments Motive (traction batteries), Standby (stationary backup power solutions for UPS systems) and Storage (energy storage). The technology offering includes lead-acid batteries, lithium iron phosphate (LFP), sodium and carbon-reinforced batteries, as well as brands such as WING, COSMOS, MOVE, U.S. Battery, Global Sebang and the company's own REVO system series. The REVO 3.0 TPX600 is a modular LFP battery system for UPS systems with integrated BMS, cloud monitoring and optional fire suppression; the modules are mounted as a slide-in system in 19-inch battery cabinets. In addition to distribution, Wetac offers consulting, technical support, monitoring systems, peak shaving, imbalance trading and extended warranties. Since 2023, Nordian Capital Partners has been the majority shareholder; from 2026, Wetac (Ede) and Intercel (Haarlem) will merge to form the Intercel Group.
