About Wever & Ducré

Wever & Ducré is a Belgian design luminaire manufacturer based in Kortrijk, founded in 1980/81 by a group of young Belgians. The company develops and distributes indoor and outdoor luminaires, including pendant luminaires as well as LED-based track, wall and ceiling luminaires, and Loxone-compatible luminaires for the 48V STREX system. The products are made from materials such as aluminium, hand-blown glass, marble, felt and recycled PET felt; aluminium is finished, among other things, by sandblasting, powder coating or glazing. Around 90% of the collection is shipped directly from an EU warehouse. The customer base includes hotels, restaurants and bars, residential spaces as well as project and architectural lighting; a documented reference project is the office lighting for Emma – The Sleep Company in Frankfurt am Main. In addition to its HQ in Kortrijk, the company maintains a subsidiary in Graz as well as branches and showrooms across Europe, Dubai and Hong Kong.
