About Wheaty

Wheaty is a German family business that has been producing vegan meat alternatives based on seitan since 1993. The product range includes more than 30 purely plant-based products such as sausages, cold cuts, steaks, frying pieces, burgers, pan dishes and snacks, made from controlled organic certified ingredients without artificial flavourings. The basic ingredient is seitan, a traditional Asian food in which the protein is washed out of wheat in several passes and then cooked and seasoned. In addition to consumer packs, Wheaty offers bulk packs for the out-of-home catering sector, for example for large-scale kitchens, canteens and catering. The products are manufactured in Germany and distributed in the DACH region as well as abroad via importers. The company is located in Swabia and its orientation is consistently purely plant-based.
