About the Expert Office

WHO Reinraumtechnik is the expert office of Prof. Dr. Horst Weißsieker, a sworn expert in cleanroom technology with more than 30 years of experience. The office in Gummersbach offers consulting on cleanroom technology matters in accordance with current standards such as DIN EN ISO 14644, VDI 2083 and GMP, as well as expert reports up to and including arbitration reports. The owner was active in development, sales and planning with a focus on plant engineering for over two and a half decades, among other things in more than 40 countries. As former Managing Director of TÜV SÜD Cleancert GmbH and Chairman of the VDI 2083 working group, he actively shaped the guidelines, planning and certification landscape. In the ZIM research project with TH Köln (2021–2022), the office modified hardware of measuring devices such as condensation nucleus counters and particle monitors for a purity monitoring system for intelligent air quality control. Customers come from the pharmaceutical industry, the medical sector such as operating rooms, and from manufacturing processes with contamination requirements.
