About WhyWood
WhyWood is a manufactory based in Grenchen, Switzerland, that produces home and lifestyle accessories, design furniture and accessories for consumer electronics. The product range includes docking stations and Qi-standard wireless chargers (including the Dockit and Pad series), table lamps, wall clocks, key boards, eyeglass holders, apéro tables with accessories as well as sideboards and coffee tables in midcentury style. Production takes place to order in the company's own manufactory in Grenchen, including custom dimension and material adjustments as well as personalized engraving. Swiss solid woods such as oak, walnut and ash, birch multiplex, epoxy resin, stainless steel, milled aluminum, marble and acrylic stone are processed; electronics such as Qi charging modules, USB chargers and MagSafe components are integrated into the wood products. The surfaces are sanded and oiled. Distribution is via the company's own online shop.
