Wibmer Erdbewegung-Steinbruch-Schotter GmbH is a family-owned company in St. Johann im Walde (East Tyrol, Austria) and has been active in civil engineering, quarry operations and gravel production since 1964. The company operates its own quarry, in which natural material is extracted in various grain sizes, and carries out drilling and blasting work as well as special blasting technology, demolition blasting and controlled terrain adjustments. In material processing, mineral raw materials and recycled materials such as asphalt granulate, recycled sand and concrete rubble are sorted, screened and crushed. Further areas of activity include earthmoving works, near-natural road construction, slope stabilization, recultivation, pond construction for snow-making systems, stone riprap placement in river engineering, natural stone walls, demolition work, timber felling as well as local and special transports. Customers come predominantly from the Lienz district in East Tyrol; the team comprises 25 to 30 employees depending on the order situation, supported by a high-performance machinery fleet.
