About WIBRA-PLAST

WIBRA-PLAST is a family-run company founded in 1988, headquartered in Apensen (Lower Saxony) with around 25 employees. The company develops and produces sealing profiles for window and door systems as well as customer-specific custom profiles. Production is carried out by extrusion and co-extrusion on its own extrusion lines; an in-house toolmaking operation enables special productions with short delivery times. Profile weights range from 5 g/m to 3000 g/m. Materials used include thermoplastics and thermoplastic elastomers such as PV, PK, WL/WLS/WLB, AWL, TKS (TPE-V/EPDM-PP), EPDM, TPE and silicone. Fields of application include window and door construction, fire protection, sound insulation, glazing and partition wall technology, as well as the construction industry, automotive and caravan manufacturing, mechanical and plant engineering and other industrial applications. Customers are served in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and across Europe on request.

Materials and Processes

PV

PV – Polyvinyl compact material

Cold-resistant material with high elongation at break and good recovery for profiles subject to high mechanical stress.

PK

PK – Polyvinyl copolymer

Free from plasticizer migration and non-discoloring in contact with rigid PVC, specially for plastic windows.

WL/WLS/WLB

WL / WLS / WLB – Thermoplastic elastomer compound

Elastomer compound with good aging and weather resistance as well as tested paint compatibility.

AWL

AWL – enhanced WL quality

Ozone- and UV-resistant further development of the WL quality for exterior-exposed profiles.

TKS

TKS – TPE-V (EPDM-PP)

Weather-, UV- and ozone-resistant TPE-V with a service temperature range of –40 °C to +100 °C.

EPDM

EPDM

Durable elastomer for seals against weather, UV and chemicals.

TPE

TPE

Thermoplastic elastomer for flexible, durable sealing profiles.

SI

Silicone

Elastomer with high temperature and weather resistance for special applications.
