About us

WICOM1 GmbH, based in Amberg, develops and manufactures custom LED display and visualization systems for indoor and outdoor use. The product range includes large LED display units, scrolling text and matrix displays, bar graph displays, small LED display units for control cabinets, BCD plug-in frames, sports scoreboards, date and temperature displays, as well as PV and environmental data displays. The systems are built from standard system components in any configuration and size, with digit heights from 20 to 500 mm and protection ratings up to IP65 for 24/7 continuous operation. Enclosures are manufactured from galvanized sheet steel with powder coating or from stainless steel V2A/V4A; front panels are labeled with high-performance film or printed. In addition, the company offers repair, refurbishment and general overhaul of existing display systems, including upgrading to current bus systems. Fields of application include the steel industry, foundries, weighing technology, the paper and corrugated cardboard industry, logistics, shipping, photovoltaics and research; deliveries are made almost worldwide.
