About Wiedenmann-Seile

Wiedenmann-Seile GmbH is a mid-sized company with more than 200 years of tradition in the assembly and production of steel wire ropes, lashing chains, lifting gear and lifting slings. Based on its own rope production, the company manufactures custom lifting attachments as well as hydraulic presses and crane systems in its own steel manufacturing facility. The portfolio also includes load securing, personal fall protection equipment (PPE against falls), UVV inspections, repairs, training courses in its own training center, and inventory and inspection management with RFID systems (tagIDeasy 3.0). The materials include steel wire rope, steel lashing chains, stainless steel products and fiber ropes. Its main customers are industries such as crane and lifting technology, load securing, overhead line and catenary construction, safety technology and event technology. The headquarters is located in Marktsteft; further plants exist in Nuremberg, Brehna and Leuna, plus service bases in Issum and Bückeburg (district Röcke).
