wienerberger Austria is part of Wienerberger AG and produces building materials and solutions for wall, roof and facade. The product range includes Porotherm wall bricks including the W.i and WDF bricks filled with mineral wool, Tondach roof tiles in large, standard and small formats, concrete roof tiles as well as facade products such as Terca facade clinker bricks, clinker slip tiles, Argeton facade elements and Tonova facade bricks. Production is predominantly based on brick clay and ceramics; in addition, concrete is produced and system accessories such as the Dryfix extra plan brick adhesive are offered. At the Uttendorf plant, the Porotherm Plan E is manufactured entirely electrically. In a pilot project with the Vienna transport operator Wiener Linien (U2 extension), bricks are produced from recycled subway excavation material. Target sectors are residential and project construction, from single-family homes to multi-family houses, multi-storey residential buildings and public or commercial buildings. In addition, the company offers digital planning tools, calculation programs and architect consulting.
