About WIESE Maschinenbau

WIESE Maschinenbau is an owner-managed contract manufacturer in Salzgitter-Gebhardshagen, in existence since 1904 and run in the fourth generation by Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Rudolf Wiese jun. The company operates as a contract manufacturing plant in machining (CNC milling including 5-axis simultaneous machining, CNC turning), sheet metal working, welding as well as assembly of modules and complete systems. Milled parts are produced as individual parts and small series up to 1,000 pieces, turned parts from prototype to series, automated up to Ø 140 mm. In addition, WIESE offers electropolishing on its own system, CAD/CAM programming (Mastercam, Esprit), material procurement and KAN-BAN delivery; further surface treatments such as electroless nickel plating, blackening (brünieren), hardening, painting and powder coating are carried out via a partner network. The two sites comprise approx. 5,000 m² of usable floor space, of which 4,500 m² is production space with a hall height of up to 8 m, plus a 1,000 m² assembly hall with a 3.5-t overhead crane.

  4. 1954

Bernhard Wiese invents the thermometer model BW 54/400.

  5. 1963

Development of a diaphragm spring manometer.

  6. 1973

Rudolf Wiese (3rd generation) takes over the business; expansion of the machining of various materials and the assembly of components and complete machines.

  7. 2005

Rudolf Wiese jun. takes over the business in the 4th generation.
