Shelving system with own connector
Wiesner & Schoen (gute-regale.de) manufactures custom-made bookshelves, shelving walls, room dividers, corner shelves, display cases and sideboards based on a self-developed shelving system. The centerpiece is the company's own shelf connector with wedge lock, completed in 1998, made of aluminium and zinc die-casting, which is invisibly integrated into the shelf panel and allows flexible, expandable construction in two to four directions. Production takes place entirely in Germany: shelf panels made of P2 furniture-grade chipboard (chipboard of European production), blockboard panels with a solid wood core, and solid woods such as alder, oak, walnut, steamed beech, birch and cherry, some with genuine wood veneer, in over 100 decors, RAL lacquers or treated with furniture oil. Surfaces are finished as melamine coating (pearl texture or smooth) or as craft carpenter's lacquering using lacquers from Votteler, Arti and Zweihorn; edges are applied as 2 mm ABS edge on waterproof glue. Customers are private households, offices/home offices and reception areas; planning is done via an online shelf planner tool, and delivery takes place within 2–4 weeks.
