About WIK Group
The WIK Group develops and manufactures electronic household appliances and product components as an OEM/ODM partner for international brands. The family business, founded in 1951 by Wilhelm Kruk in Essen and with its group headquarters in Hong Kong, covers the entire value chain: product development, plastics injection molding, aluminum die casting, electronics with hardware, software, V&V and EMC testing, IoT and cloud connectivity, heating and cooling technologies, as well as assembly, distribution and after-sales including refurbishment. The production plants in Shenzhen (China), Batam (Indonesia) and Prilep (North Macedonia) carry out series production to food-grade standards, supported by an in-house laboratory for circular material development (WIK LABS). Materials include aluminum, ceramics, bioplastics, recycled materials and proprietary compounds such as FTS Circular Compound and FTS Rescued Plastic® made from ocean-bound plastic waste and post-consumer WEEE plastics. Core industries are electric household appliances as well as portafilter espresso machines for the beverage industry. Products are delivered to more than 120 countries.
