About WILD Connect
WILD CONNECT GmbH, based in Heitersheim, is a supplier specialized in cable assembly for industry. Founded in 1972, the family-owned company manufactures custom strands, cables, wire harnesses and complex assemblies for industries such as industrial applications, household appliances, medical technology (e.g. defibrillators, ECG harnesses), metrology, fire alarm systems and actuators. Manufacturing includes crimping with crimp force monitoring, IDC technology, soldering (RoHS-compliant), tinning, pressing, ultrasonic and spot welding, laser welding in cooperation, as well as potting using the hotmelt process with polyamides. The modern machine park comprises more than 40 automatic machines, including Komax fully automatic machines, 30 semi-automatic machines and high-voltage test equipment for testing up to 11 kV. In addition, the company offers additive manufacturing (FDM, LFS) as well as services such as EDI, Ship to Line, consignment warehouse and KANBAN. Since 1990, WILD Connect has also manufactured in Hungary; the Gyöngyös site was formally established in 1996 and, since the 100 percent acquisition in 2023, has been operated as WILD KFT.

Materials & Processes
Polyamides (Hotmelt)
For the hotmelt potting process; higher mechanical strength compared to other hot-melt adhesives.
Copper strands
Base material for strands and wire harnesses in cable assembly.
Crimping with crimp force monitoring
On Komax fully automatic machines with controlled crimp quality.
IDC technology
Insulation displacement connection technique for fast, tool-assisted contacts.
Hotmelt casting technology
Potting of assemblies with a dosing system for protection against environmental influences.
Ultrasonic and spot welding
Joining technique for strand connections; laser welding in cooperation.
High-voltage testing up to 11 kV
Electrical testing of the assemblies during the manufacturing process.
Additive manufacturing (FDM, LFS)
Plastic-based prototypes and tools from 3D printing.
