About WILD
The WILD Group, headquartered in Völkermarkt (Austria), is a technology partner for contract development and contract manufacturing of optomechatronic systems in the medical technology, laboratory technology, in-vitro diagnostics, laser technology, optical metrology and semiconductor industries. Its service portfolio covers complete product development including requirements engineering (among other things KANO analysis), electronics and software development, prototyping, and process-stable, validated series production. Mechanical production is carried out on CNC turning and milling machines with tolerances in the thousandth-of-a-millimeter range (±0.005 mm), complemented by centering turning for arc-second-accurate alignment of optical systems, plastics technology (injection molding, thermoforming), additive manufacturing with CFRP and biocompatible plastics, and surface technology such as anodizing, painting and electroplating. Assembly ranges from subassemblies to complete devices, in an ISO 6 cleanroom (ISO 14644-1:2015) with ISO 5 class flow boxes, including sterile production and part cleaning. Around 500 employees work at the Völkermarkt, Wernberg, Trnava (Slovakia) and Vienna sites for customers such as AVL, ZEISS Microscopy and Heidelberg Engineering.
