Wilh. Putsch GmbH & Co. KG (WILPU) is a family company founded in 1867 and now run by the fifth generation, located in Remscheid in the Bergisches Land region. The company processes European quality steel and strip steel into jigsaw blades, sabre saw blades, bi-metal hole saws, saw blades for oscillating machines (STARLOCK) and hand saws. Over 95% of the products are manufactured in the company's own production facilities in Remscheid on approximately 10,000 m². WILPU is the largest saw blade manufacturer in this segment in Germany and, as the only manufacturer, produces bi-metal hole saws entirely in Germany on fully automatic production stations. In addition to its standard range, the company offers custom-made products, new developments and private-label manufacturing for customer brands. The products are supplied to more than 50 countries worldwide; covered applications include metals, inox, cast iron, wood, plastics and special materials such as GFRP, CFRP, marble and glass.
