Wilhelm Haber Schleifmittel GmbH is an owner-managed family business from Munich, founded in 1923, specializing in abrasives. The product range includes sanding belts, grinding discs, hook-and-loop and back-up discs, pad discs, sanding rolls as well as roll stock, complemented by care and cleaning products for parquet floors. In addition to trading, the company operates its own production for customer-specific solutions: it manufactures custom-made abrasives, produces sanding belts in special sizes and executes die-cutting orders for the converting of abrasives. The company also offers a sharpening service intake for knives, scissors and tools as well as technical consulting. Its customers come primarily from joineries and carpentry shops, the parquet-laying trade, model making, as well as from industry and abrasives wholesale. Since 1974, the company has been located with its headquarters, retail store and production at Von-Kahr-Str. 34 in Munich-Untermenzing; the company is run in the fourth generation by Wolfgang and Michael Haber.
