In the manufacturing division (Knepper GmbH), single parts for mechanical and plant engineering are produced, primarily welded parts with and without subsequent machining. On modern machining centres, welded assemblies weighing up to 10 t per unit can be machined with an accuracy of 0.02 mm. The range extends from simple cover sheets through fully machined welded assemblies to the manufacture of complete machinery and conveying systems. In addition, through its sister company KMT, the company offers a worldwide assembly and maintenance service for its own components as well as supplied elements and assemblies.
