Wilhelm Quadt GmbH & Co. KG, founded in 1919 and family-run in the fourth generation, is headquartered in Mönchengladbach. The company manufactures and converts drive belts and flat belts, conveyor and process belts, timing belts, round belts, and technical leathers – as single pieces and in series for OEMs, technical distributors, and industrial producers. The portfolio also includes seamlessly endless conveyor and process belts with tension layers made of polyester, Kevlar, and steel cord, corrugated edges, cleats, modular belts, and special belts such as bag-puller belts, tube winder belts, and reel straps. Processes include custom special coating up to 2.5 m belt width, high-frequency conversion, mechanical secondary machining such as perforation and milling, as well as on-site belt welding up to 4 m width. Materials processed include PVC, PU, leather, elastomers, foams, felts, and various coating materials such as silicone, Teflon, Linatex, and chrome split leather. The products are used, among others, in the wood, textile, food and beverage, ceramics, printing and paper, and plastics processing industries, as well as in logistics, agriculture, metalworking, and recycling. In addition to manufacturing, the company offers technical design, installation, repair service, training, and extensive warehousing.
