About Rutenbeck
Wilhelm Rutenbeck GmbH & Co. KG, based in Schalksmühle (Sauerland), develops and manufactures passive and active components for data network technology, fibre optic cabling, building communications technology and telephone technology. The product range covers the areas DATA (copper-based data lines), FIBRE (fibre optic networks), CONTROL (IP switching actuators and sensors), MEDIA (multimedia connections) and PHONE (telephone technology). In-house production depth is high: development of software, electronic circuits and PCB layouts, design, toolmaking, a stamping department with press and bending machines, injection moulding of all moulded parts as well as in-house die casting of all zinc parts, through to assembly of large series and small batches. Materials include, in addition to plastics and zinc, copper alloys and metals for contacts, sheet metal parts and shielded network components. Customers include electrical wholesalers, the electrical trades, building technology, data network technology and OEM customers; sales representatives are located in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Belgium.

Materials and Processes
Zinc (die casting)
All zinc parts for shielded network components are manufactured in-house by die casting.
Plastic (injection moulding)
All injection-moulded parts are produced in the company's own injection moulding shop, enabling flexible production.
Copper
Copper-based data lines form the basis of the DATA product line.
Metal
Metal carrier rings and shielded network components are made of metal.
Steel/Copper alloys (stamping)
Contacts and sheet metal parts are produced on press and bending machines with pressing force monitoring.
