Wilhelm Schlechtriem e.K. is a family company based in Remscheid since 1913 specialising in tube expanders, tube sawing tools and tube working tools. The products are used in heat exchangers, boilers as well as apparatus and tube constructions and are delivered worldwide. The product range includes tube expanders in numerous sizes from 10 mm to 4 1/4" expansion, tube sawing tools (No. 19 and No. 20 with Quick Lock System) for distortion-free, damage-free cutting to length of thin-walled stainless steel tubes with outer diameters of 6.35–204 mm, clamping devices for fittings, groove plunging heads, tube shorteners as well as tube end facing machines in electric and compressed-air powered versions. In addition, the company offers drive technology with Electronic Expansion System and compressed-air motor with adjustable torque control as well as special tool manufacturing on request. All production steps from raw material to finished product are carried out in-house, enabling short delivery times even for custom-made products. Materials include stainless steel as well as carbide and HSS for cutting tools.
