About WindFil
WindFil GmbH, based in Füssen (Bavaria), specializes in IDC terminals (Insulation Displacement Connector, insulation displacement technology) as well as the development and manufacture of insertion machines and insertion heads. The precision stamped parts produced are used for contacting enameled copper wire in the range of 0.16 mm to 1.0 mm and are employed in the automotive and consumer sectors as well as in electrical machine manufacturing (stators). Standard variants such as wire-to-wire, wire-to-PC-Board and wire-to-TAB are available, as well as customized special solutions. Terminal manufacturing takes place at a certified supplier on Bruderer stamping presses with 100% camera-based monitoring; tool development and machine building (single-station machines, insertion heads horizontal/vertical, hand lever presses, AX 10 module) are carried out in Füssen. The quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015. The original geometry (SIAMEZE) was marketed in 1995 by Giermann Electronics in various European countries.

History
- 1995
The SIAMEZE IDC insulation-displacement geometry (from the product development of Amtronics Inc.) was brought to market by Giermann Electronics in various European countries.
Through company acquisitions, sales and re-establishments, there are today various variants of IDC terminals for the automotive and consumer sectors.
