Windmöller & Hölscher Academy GmbH is the competence center for initial and further training of the Windmöller & Hölscher Group, located at the headquarters in Lengerich. The parent company Windmöller & Hölscher, founded in 1869, is a worldwide leading manufacturer of machines and systems for the production of flexible packaging; the portfolio includes machines for film extrusion, printing and converting, and the subsidiary Garant specializes in paper bag machines and used machinery. Around 3,100 employees develop solutions for manufacturers of flexible packaging in more than 130 countries – from consulting and engineering through the manufacture of individual parts to the delivery of complete packaging lines. The Academy is integrated into the entire value chain, from research and development through production to sales. Trainees learn in a modern, well-equipped training workshop and rotate through various departments, including training units in the technology centers for extrusion, printing and converting. In addition to apprenticeships and dual study programs, the Academy offers internships, further training and customer training courses.
