About Windpark Neudersum
Windpark Neudersum GmbH & Co. KG operates a wind farm on the land of the municipality of Dersum in the collective municipality of Dörpen in the northwestern Emsland. The wind farm covers an area of around 240 ha within a special designated area for wind turbines and is located near the German-Dutch border. It was commissioned in 2002 with 13 wind turbines of the type Enercon E-66/18.70 by 219 limited partners. Since 2015, as part of several repowering steps, nine of the original turbines have been replaced by more modern units: four Enercon E-101, three Enercon E-126 EP4 and six Nordex N-149 (two in 2023, four in 2025). The 13 turbines in operation have a total rated capacity of 59 MW; the forecast annual energy yield is around 160 million kWh, which, according to the operator, can supply more than 46,000 households. The electricity produced has been fed into the Neudersum substation since completion, which is connected to the TenneT Dörpen-West substation. The commercial and technical operational management is handled by Ems Wind GmbH & Co. KG.
